This Seawind has damage to the left landing gear and to the hull on the same side, most likely from a hard landing on a paved runway. The aircraft is straight and repairable, and it can be returned to service by someone with fiberglass and mechanical skills. The rest of the aircraft will need attention too.
It has been out of service for a number of years, but it's a solid base for building up a unique, head-turning aircraft.
We were able to power the aircraft up with a jumper battery. It comes with a full suite of older radios and instruments, plus a full set of builder manuals (used, but still readable).
The engine turns and seems to be in good shape. With purchase of the project at the offer price, we'll include an IRAN (inspect and repair as necessary) on the engine, and we can negotiate further.
This is a complete aircraft. Everything is there, but it needs work, so please look through the photos below. We won't break this project up.
If you're serious about this project and have questions, please email us first. More photos are available on request.
